I've put hundreds of hours into this game, far more than either of the other two main entries in the series, and yet it's the weakest for me by far. It's full of time wasters and ways to keep you playing without substance, and sometimes that is good for passing time, but for the most part it ends up tedious and unfulfilling. I enjoy the characters (mostly) and the game play itself is enjoyable, but the writing choices and shape of the narrative leave so much to be desired for me. The villain is so forgettable I forget he exists all the time, the B and C plots aren't much better. The illusion of choice in this one is significantly more blatant and annoying as previous entries as well. Frankly I'd say give it a pass, go play some indie RPG with a 10th of the budget but like 20x as much heart and love cobbled together by a team of four or something. You'll have a better time.
