I'm still not too big on roguelites, although this makes a strong case for them actually being good. Very similar to some famous ones, without becoming tedious later in the run. I can see shmup fans trying to find out every secret here, but I was satisfied with my few completions. May still go back for some runs throughout the year, which is more than I can say for any other roguelike.

Tried a few runs with and without the DLC. The DLC seems to add a lot of choices and some nice qol in the rooms but I just saw no reason to play it without the DLC. Worth picking up both when they go on sale for under $10.
