Honestly the way this game accounts for ever little action you can take is amazing- there's so many little tweaks you can get to dialogue and endings, the potential is great.

And the way they structured the gameplay was done excellently- The different skill tree and branches offer a wide variety of ways you can play the game, along with the wide variety of weapons you can use that are all satisfying and useful in their own way. A BIG boon for me is that this game is designed and rewards you for exploring, for checking out little rooms. Even if its just with some loot to recycle and turn into gear you want you can usually find something interesting in very corner, and they designed Talos I beautifully- This space station feels SO lived in, having the dry erase boards vary from important information for the player, updates that would've been relveant if the station was still working, or just silly little doodles the scientists made when they were bored, it feels like a replace where people lived and its perfect.

The ONLY reason I'm taking down half a star is for the ending- NOT because the ending is bad, because its not and the game was building up to it the whole time. It makes sense and I knew it was coming, but I just wish we had maybe an extra minute of what happens after your last choice, just to solidify my choices in the game and give them more context and meaning. There's a lot of vagueness about the ending so its hard to imagine what comes next, and I just wanted a little bit more to feel completely satisfied.

Also reloading the shot gun 👌😩💦
