I don't really know what to say about this other than it's "ok". The Xenomorph campaign is the only saving grace about this game as the Xenomorph is the only class that doesn't feel clunky or like complete shit to play as.
The Predator was such a huge let-down. His stealth abilities barely work, with Marines always capable of spotting you if only one of them saw you once and practically none of the stealth abilities work against the Xenomorph. His abilities are handicapped by some garbage energy system and all his gear feel weak against the Xenomorph.
Marines on the other hand feel like complete shit to play as. The default control scheme sucks ass (Q to sprint? What the hell is that?) and the weapons feel like little peashooters, with the crosshair blending into the environment so you can barely tell what you're shooting at.

But the worst of the lot is what is the most horrid first-person melee combat I think I've ever experienced. I thought Mordhau was bad because players can abuse animations to make their attacks unreadable but jesus christ you can barely tell what you're throwing punches at because the first-person camera keeps snapping to different angles and directions with every swing. Heavy attacks aren't good because the wind-up is far too long and blocking feels inconsistent too. The most pointless addition despite being the most visually brutal are the executions. They take 11 years to complete, you can still get damaged and killed during them, and you get no reward from doing this other than an instant kill (that is if the AI doesn't randomly decide to shove you away, cancelling your grab).

I may come back to this to finish off the Marine and Predator campaign, but the Predator campaign feels half-baked and the Marine campaign is just so boring.
If anything, this has interested me in trying the original games.
