An incredible collection of the Metal Gear saga to the point it was released, including every main game. Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, as well as Peace Walker, are included on one disc, along with Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 for the MSX, and MGS4 is on its own disc. Metal Gear Solid and VR Missions, however, are only download codes and don't come with the disc. This is probably the biggest ding against the collection. Since we don't know when the PS3 store will go down, we don't know how long these games will be redeemable. Granted, MGS and VR Missions are coming to the Master Collection, soon, but still a worthwhile purchase if you don't mind the lower resolution of the PS3.

Edit: The Master Collection has some emulation and resolution issues, but the HD Collection does run a little faster there than in this collection. This collection also does not include MGS Integral, nor does it contain MGS 1, VR Missions, or Special Missions if buying a used copy, since this collection cannot be bought digitally. So bear that in mind when making a decision to potentially buy this. You can still buy MGS 1 on PS3 with the workaround as of the moment of this writing.
