So I was hoping this would be better than Kindom Rush Frontiers. In certain aspects it feels more polished but the game feels more challenging because it needs a bigger screen plus mouse and keyboard. It seems to have this problem more than Frontiers because the units you’re controlling are tiny and it’s hard to select specific units or all units, and that’s with an iPad Pro 12.9 inch! I also realise that I just don’t like the chaotic nature of too many things happening at the same time. Frontiers was more of a typical tower defence where you needed to protect a route. In this, you go through a map, trying to reach your objectives, build stuff along the way and can be attacked from different sides. I would have liked being able to pause the gameplay to observe the situation and make the best decisions. It just doesn’t work for me and that’s on casual.

I’m starting to think these games are either not for me or they need to be played on pc. I still have Junkworld on the iPad. I also have Origins and Vengeance on PC. Maybe third time is the charm?
