Sadly bubble bobbles reputation fell off a cliff in the 2000's and this game shows that very well. The controls arent tight and are floaty. The minigames that were added to "break things up" are horrible. The boss fights should be fun and simple but are rather horrible and frustrating since you are given a short time limit on each one. Still bubble bobble at its core, but with a lot of junk added.
