My overall opinion on this game is that it's pretty ok.
Yeah that ending sucked and pretty much all the side missions just devolved into "go here scan this come back", but everything else was honestly not that bad.
The gameplay is the best the series has had so far, the writing while a little different was still pretty good, and I really like the progression with the War Assets.
Do I think this game is great, no, do I think this is the best way to end the trilogy, no, as a game by itself it's still fun; I'll never come back to it unlike maybe 2, but I still had some fun.
