I don't think this game gets nearly enough credit since it was basically id's triumphant return before Doom 4. To start let me just say this is probably the best story I've experienced in an fps so far. It's not the deepest it's just very well executed with great characters backed by great performances. The gunplay is also fun as hell. It could have been a little more polished but still managed to find a fine middle ground between cover based and run and gun style gameplay and every weapon feels like it packs a serious punch even the pistol. The stealth is also pretty fun too, though I could see it being repetitive to others which is why i think it is good that stealth is completely optional. Also though this isn't the first shooter to have dual wielding, GOD DAMN does it feel good here. So I'd definelty recommend this game after all few things are as fun as just "shooting, stabbing, strangling Nazi's".
