This game felt more like a tutorial/tech demo than a final product. The story starts off great but as soon as we reach the Hub, this game takes a drastic nose dive. If you're only interested in the story, you are forced to explore the different modes right as the story is ramping up. Since I was only interested in the story for my first playthrough I was forced to complete 12 loading screens before I could continue. After that, you are introduced to the character switch feature and are given a level each to explore their uses. These levels are generally lazy and only have one or two things of interest. The biggest offenders that I can recall are the space level, which is just an plain moon map padded out with three stations you can't enter and zero gravity, and the go-kart level where the devs dump you in an empty race track and force you to complete three laps without bothering to add any nullbots to race. Once you've collected all the characters you finally feel like the game is going to get good, just to be met with the ending after one good level.
