Always heard people call this "the best one" growing up, and when I played it, I thought it was fiiiine. Don't get me wrong, this is a great game and a huge step-up from Super Mario Kart, but there's not much this one does that future entries don't do even better. Still, at the time this was one of the greatest sequels to any game ever, and extremely fun. Now, it's great, and fun with friends, but I'm not gonna pick it over any of its sequels
