Easy to forget that this is where it all properly began for Codemasters in regards to Formula One games (ignoring F1 2009 on Wii).

Back in the day the racing was adequate. However, this game has a strong presentation with a focus on the glamour side of the sport in the career/"story mode". This is something we didn't see again in the series, and that's a shame.
