I'm sure there's a good game in here when you're not fighting the controls or the awkward hitboxes some weapons and enemies have...or the leveling system that feels largely pointless...or the gameplay design based on punishing you for not killing a boss and making it back to a save point to lock that state of existence into place. There's a lot I could say on all of that and more.

Instead, let's say something really positive about the game. In a Metroidvania with 1139 rooms, numerous music tracks, 50-some-odd enemies, six different endings, and some randomization aspects for a game that's got about a dozen hours of playtime just for a first run, it's impressive that the developer compressed the game to 40 megs. Someone needs to pay this dev to teach people how to compress their assets efficiently, because I can't help but feel that some of these larger games out there aren't utilizing compression efficiently at all.

And yeah, that's all I've got. One extra half-star for the compression, the game needs a lot of polish that it's been confirmed to be never getting. If you're desperate for a Metroidvania, it's only like 7 bucks normally, but it's still hard for me to recommend to anyone.
