I remember the campaigns were a bit worse in comparison to AVP1. They are not bad but the levels and structure just wasn't as awesome as the first game. There were some cool new tools and mechanic added for each class that did increase the gameplay funness. I think this game was more focused on the multiplayer side this time IRRC and I never played that side of it so I can't comment on that. I do remember liking the single player stuff thoguh. Although I think the balance was better in AVP1 and it was much more difficult too. I still think this is worth playing though.
