I feel like this does a pretty good job of answering the question it sets out to ask, that being "what if American Truck Simulator was fucked up and evil." I mostly mean that as a joke but I feel as if half of the game being holding W and driving down a single road is a lot more effective than I would have expected it to be, really only because they do a good job of playing off of and setting up the moments at the gas station where the game hits its peak in terms of unnerving, off-putting ambiance imo. The birdwatching stuff is... fine. Being beaten to death by PS1 The Rake was totally unnecessary but it made me go "ohhhH!" a little so I can't say it's totally ineffective. All in all it's good! Nothing I can see myself coming back to but I enjoyed it well enough.
