Bayonetta 2 is everything I wanted from a sequel to Bayonetta 1 and it more than delivered. The story was fun and a bit more grounded, allowing for Bayonetta and her group of friends to become more established characters that still retain their trademark humor.

In Bayonetta 1, each character seemed like a caricature, which was fine for the time, but It would have gotten boring if in the sequel they remained that way. In Bayonetta 2, each character shines within the story and through the cutscenes, giving us a more personal journey for Bayonetta.

The gameplay is completely overhauled with new weapons and moves that the player can freely utilize to rack up some of the most outrageous and deadly combos to wipe out the hordes of enemies that continuously block your path. It's stylish, creative, and just a downright blast to play. My personal favorite weapons were the duel swords which I combined with a whip that I used to fling enemies into the air and slice them to peices. I cannot explain in simple words how fun the gameplay is, you really have to try it for yourself and take my word for it.

Bayonetta 2 comes with a bunch of new modes and difficulties that add some extra content to the already jam-packed story. The secret boss fight was prob one of the hardest bosses I've ever fought, but once I beat him It was like reaching heaven itself.

Bayonetta 2 is a masterpiece of the action-brawler genre and Platinum game's magnum opus. I really love this game, and it has made Bayonetta one of my favorite video game characters ever.
