Honestly, I do give props to this game. Not only for being an amazing entry to the series, but the influence it had on the gaming industry as a whole. I was a bit skeptical at first, since I didn't think I'd like it that it steers away from the survival horror elements but my worries were thankfully wrong.

While not being all that scary, it certainly does have it's moments. The short time we play as Ashley, fighting the Regenerators, and the infamous open were definitely intense as well as unforgettable. I also got to mention, this game's cheesiness really does give it some charm. As Leon's exchanges with Salazar, and other infamous quotes such as "Where did everybody go? Bingo?" really make me like Leon more than I did before.

The boss fights with Krauser, Verdugos, and Mendez were highlights for me as they really were the boss fights I actually had some trouble in. The only time when the quality drops is in the last section, where it literally just becomes Rambo. I enjoyed it until the part where the helicopter got destroyed, after that I felt it abruptly ruined the tone this game had going for it until now. I highly recommend this game, especially if you intend on playing RE4 Remake. This game is my second favorite Resident Evil game next to REmake.
