Let me just frontload this with something positive before I start ranting. It's just plain old fun with friends, it's a great background to just shoot the shit with your mates, and you can put together some funny combos and try to get them to work in gameplay. There is fun to be found there, even if at its core, a lot of enemy players will try to ruin it. And I mean that, this games community is just the worst, I played League and CS: GO for years, and this community dwarfs both of those. It's so chuck full of spiteful gremlins that will actively try to make the experience unfun for you, not win, not get the advantage, not prioritize their own fun, but straight up make it worse for you no matter the cost. The problem is that the 4v1 asymmetric horror aesthetic is literally just this game, and some niche titles that' dont matter. There is no DOTA to DBD. That sucks because at its core the gameplay is super duper interesting and clever. NOT TO MENTION THE GOD DAMN LICENCES MAN! You can have Alien, Jill Valentine, Nicolas Cage, Ashley Williams and Steve Harrington in the same match. I literally put 1000 hours into it, this would be considered "semi-advanced" by the community probably. Not even advanced, not expert, not pro. I just kinda know more than the average player, and that's about it. After 1000 fucking hours. In Counter-Strike, StarCraft, some other games I would say "fair", in this case, I would say "holy fuck, knowing this game in and out is so not worth it". It's cool to check it out, but the longer you stay the worse it gets.
