An unbelievably faithful remake of the first two Tony Hawk games. It looks amazing, plays unbelievably good, and has some real ass challenges in store for you if you want to 100% it. The only real issue I could have with this is that this is a remake of THPS 1 and 2, those games were kinda... simple, and so is this remake. You can be done with all of the goals on all of the levels with a single skater in 4 to 5 hours. And anything left after that is to just repeat and repeat and repeat those levels while playing multiplayer, split-screen, or doing additional challenges. But then again, that was always the case with those more "arcadey" Tony Hawks. Playing this also sucks on some meta-level, because the studio that made THPS 1+2 is now dead and buried, which means no 3 and 4 remakes, which are the two games more dear and near my heart. If you ever had fun with any Tony Hawk's game, this will 100% be up your alley because it's definitely up there when the whole franchise is considered.
