The same formula that has proven itself time and time again once again stands tall in fusion, my primary gripes are its map design being segmented in a way i find less satisfying than the other games, and the enemies hitting a bit toooo hard for my liking, as well as some bosses being really obnoxious to evade as a result of the game feeling a lot more screen crunched during those segments.

The story was surprisingly engaging for such a short game, hearing Samus's introspection was a great touch throughout. While this is probably lower on the spectrum for this series, it is still extremely solid, and can hold up a surprisingly good sense of atmosphere and tension at times.

Soundtrack was, in my eyes, forgettable, and I struggle to recall any tracks from this game.

Would still recommend to any fans of the series, for newcomers I'd still suggest starting with zero mission.
