I've probably played Sonic Adventure 2 once a year for over 15 years, but I just finished my first 180 emblem playthrough, and the emotional payoff of Sonic finally going home at what was supposed to be the ending of the series is unbeatable. Chao Garden being too bloated and a handful of bad missions aside, this is one of the best games in the entire series.
