sega does several different gameplay styles and they all suck ass in their own super unique game. the absolute soul and ambition on display has cemented this as a game i will think about at least once a month for the rest of my life. absolutely symbolic of what games should always be - total and utter dogshit explorations of new ideas. also sonic's physics are so comfortable and even nostalgic in how disgustingly he handles on slopes.
