Vanilla WoW is a hallmark game in the history of MMOs and games as a whole. It defined the MMORPG genre for better or for worse, and inspired countless copies. It’s influence is still felt to this day, and despite its jankiness, it deserves a spot on the throne next to other masterpieces of gaming history.
