Having just finished OFF, Mortis Ghost's most well known work, this game feels like a response to it.
Both games have a father as protagonists, both are on a supposedly noble quest whose goal is simple yet whose consequences are not clear. but where OFF is a story about destruction, TiaP is about healing and rebuilding, trying to make order from the ruins of an previous life. Ultimately it's a story about trying to reunite with lost family and making peace with the world.

Thinking about it, there may have been, in fact, multiple pictures. Further investigation pending.
