The worst game I've finished in a while. It borrows a ton from 3D Zelda, and in way less graceful way than Banjo borrowed from Mario 64. The controls, the lock and key design, the finding a new item animation---none of the things that made 3D Zelda good exactly, and the absences, like the genuine sense of place, the atmosphere, the mystery, the sound work, the intuitive world design, the puzzles, the characters, it's all missing. Its a world of dinosaurs where none of them are interesting and their world feels like it was built for a fox who carries a thousand items.

But it's less than a ripoff of 3D Zelda that doesn't work, it's all embellished further by all the worst tendencies of Rare's design at the time. It's long, bloated, full of tedious backtracking, fetch quests, a load of pointless resources and collectables, embarrassing minigames, and no feeling for storytelling in the slightest. I know it's not Starfox, it's Dinosaur Planet, but would it have hurt to have the arwing segments feel more robust and better implemented than the gummi ship interludes in Kingdom Hearts? It's Dinosaur Planet alright, and like that game it still feels unfinished.

One star??? Come on, that's way too harsh. For me to give a game one star, essentially everything has to be bad: from graphics to gameplay to music and so on. I loved the visuals of Adventures. It's a great-looking game, and the soundtrack is sweet too. Some of the puzzles are tedious, but some are fun. It also has its share of wacky characters. Maybe not any memorable ones, but as long as they can be fun, I don't necessarily need ones that I remember. The combat is fun for what it is too, albeit too easy and simple. It doesn't do anything crazy, but it isn't offensive either.

I love the atmosphere in certain areas as well. Some locations don't have music and instead have a bunch of background dino sounds and so on, and I love it. Either way, seems awfully harsh. I also see you gave Resident Evil Village, a game that has 95% positive reviews on Steam, 2 stars. Yikes. Do you even enjoy games? Wow, and you gave Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath a 2.5? That game is so goddamn creative. Wait, and you gave Sea of Stars 1.5 stars? Huh??? That's the same as 3/10. That game has wonderful visuals and music, and the gameplay loop is pretty fun too. The story is pretty barebones, but ignoring that, it's pretty good. Do you just not look at all aspects when it comes to a game? You find one thing you don't like, then the whole game is bad? Oh well.

I see you gave Unpacked 1.5 stars. Why? That game is so cozy-looking. I would consider 1 star absolute trash, so 1.5 is slightly above trash. It don't get how you come to these conclusions; I've heard nothing but positive things about Unpacked. I've also heard a ton of positives about Paradise Killer, but you gave that 2 stars. Damn, you don't like anything. Except old stealth games, it seems. I saw you gave Tenchu 4.5 stars. Are you serious? That game is so clunky and annoying at times.

I don't get it. Weird.
