Out of all of the Sonic games I've played in this marathon so far, this was actually the first time I've ever played Sonic Heroes. And even though I've only done Team Sonic, I'm a little conflicted, I can see why many people love this game but I can also see why many people hate this game as well. The level design is alright with some dips in quality here in there, I love the designs of the stages like they are an upgrade from the Adventure games and the stages are so cool and distinct from each other and its interesting how they are technically using the two act structure from Sonic 2 and 3. And the levels are huge like holy shit they can take up to like 8 to 10 minutes to finish. The gameplay is a bit worse then Adventure 2 but there is variety with three characters you have so that's cool. The Egg Emperor just straight up takes too long to beat, its like they hired the boss designers from Sonic Superstars 20 years before it came out to make the boss. Overall this games alright and the most mixed I've been with a Sonic game since Sonic 1 (even though I think Heroes had higher highs so that has the edge), definitely better then Edgey the Hedgey and the original 06 that's for such.

Who knows, maybe I'll grow to appreciate this game more in the future.
