Review #3 - 2018

From a casual point of view, this is a game that I love to pick up and play with my friends if they're available for it. Many have moved away from this game due to a ton of different issues, especially those who played it competitively.

I on the other hand, don't know too much about the game and its inner workings. All I know, is that it's a good time with the right people in your squad, and I'm fine living in that ignorant bliss. And when Quickplay becomes too much, there's plenty of custom games for us to mess around with to keep us entertained and laughing for a couple of hours. Sometimes I'll even boot up the game as a solo player, and though I may not know all the technical intricacies that make the game work, I still find enjoyment from time to time, and manage to win here and there.

Something I wish they did from the start though, was include a story mode that has you exploring the individual stories of each character, that eventually ties together in one big finale level. It's something I hope "Overwatch 2" explores, but it may not happen. Regardless, I enjoy "Overwatch" from time to time, and I hope whatever problems that are frustrating dedicated players, are sorted out in the sequel.
