Titanfall 2 is the definition of lightning in a bottle. It came out of nowhere and blew everyone away. Even those who don't even like first person shooters.

I could say many things about this game and what makes it so endearing. About suprisingly great characterization, especially of BT. About the simplistic and charming B-Movie Story that works like a well-oiled machine.

But I will just settle with the most important: The design of the levels and setpieces in this game is just unreal. Every. single. area. every. single. encounter. is a work of art and a labor of love that does something fun and interesting that is immediately engaging.

The worst level in this game would be far and away the best, even in your average pretty great shooting game.

It is an achievement.

Oh, and it's got that multiplayer mode too... not that I care too much about that, but many people really seem to love it.
