It's stylish. That's mostly it. The puzzles are and feel secondary to the story which has a good premise, but is somewhat boringly dealt with non-stop. It's a constant horror atmosphere that never lets up, compounded by the yucky aesthetic this genre tends to have. Not exactly subtle and not giving you any unique glimpses or points of view, it remains just another horror game.
