Definitely my favorite Alex Kidd game of all the three I played. The game is actually Alex Kidd mixed with Shinobi, another game we also owned, when I was a kid.

For a Sega Master System game, the graphics are actually amazing, and it makes the most out of it's limited colors. The soundtrack is also kind of a chiptune-banger.
The levels are designed quite nicely and luckily this game is way more forgiving than the first game in the series, with Alex having an actual health bar. And luckily there are no item-boxes that try to kill you.
Only the last boss in the game felt like a huge pain, with the first phase expecting you to hit him, in what felt like 0.1 seconds, that his shield isn't up. (That's also where I used save states, because fluff this guy!)

Still a nice and (actually super) short platformer title.
