While the story is very cliche and actively does not follow up on the only story element I found interesting, the gameplay made the expereince enjoyable overall. If you are looking for a very crunchy tactical RPG a la Fire Emblem/Ogre, this is the game for you. If you do not want to spend time fiddling in menus and controls with a subpar story, skip or wait for a sale.
I felt the game progression went too quickly with character levels and advancement, almost as if there was a missing class progression for all classes. There is DLC coming out July 2023 so maybe this will be expanded by then.
Despite my complaints, this is in my Favorite Games list and should be on the watchlist for any tactics RPG enjoyer out there.
