Coming from someone who played the original as a kid, pretty much perfect remake. It even improves on the systems that were in the original which had its own problems, giving some Quality of life improvements. It is unfortunate that the sprite work is gone which I think was a big appeal of the original, but I think it's a good enough compromise to introduce the series to a newer generation and hopefully bring more fans so that there can be a new entry in the franchise. Here's hoping they make a completely new game or at the very least remake Explorers of Sky, my favorite and probably most deserving game for a remake in the entire Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Series.
