A solid platformer with a serviceable story, mediocre combat at best, and some of the most unique and fun looking levels I've seen for a platformer in a long time.
- The level designs and set pieces are fantastic and is such a cacophony of beautiful colors, unique ideas, and just settings and scenery that made me just go wowee.
- Story is pretty good as well, nothing too amazing, but extremely serviceable I would say. Better than the first in my opinion and the writing had some good laughs, decent emotional beats, and other than a small lull around the mid point of the game (it does pick back up, but kinda hits a wall or a while) was a good time.
- Platforming feels fantastic and fluid, but the combat in my opinion is extremely weak and just never felt right. Had a hard time enjoying any combat segment to be honest and in my opinion is the game's weakest point.
Still worth your time in my opinion to try out, especially if you liked the first one.
