(This is a review of the remastered version for the PS5) Introduction to the spin-off series Judgement, and an introduction which wanted to heavily ground us in the crazy insane world of kamurochou almost like in ant's shoes compared to the mainline series. We're playing as a detective, Yagami to who the Yakuza are a gigantic threat, compared to the mainline one - Kiryu. Overall this makes for a part of the Very Heavy world-building which correlates with the incredible story this game presents which is like nothing any of the other games have shown so far, and it's one of the greatest at that.
Other than that the game has some flaws and the most noticeable of them all is using too many of it's new mechanics, and of course I am talking about "tailing" which they totally toned down in the sequel.
