The story is 5 stars the gameplay is 3.5 stars. It's just 2d mario platforming but with a paper mario theme and set in the Paper Mario universe that's the best way to describe it. It has some RPG elements like leveling up and using abilities as well as a great story but the gameplay isn't anything special.
