While this would be mostly inoffensive to anyone unaware (unless you really hate furries), the whole thing was made by a total creep. Like just look up everything wrong with Jasonafex.

Like from what I remember it just felt really slippery and awkward. Like it felt nothing like the Doom engine at all. Really weird HD models and all, too. Like I know it's free, but this didn't feel like passionate fans remaking it as much as it did the brand asking a small game dev team to remake it so nostalgia blinded people would rush to it.

No, this was just really bad when I tried it.
Like the age is showing A Lot.
I guess I also expected more, like I didn't realize there was no movement. You just click on places and you stand/sit there. Avatars are much weirder to piece together. Seems all furry stuff is a bit limited since your face is gonna be eerily human looking no matter what.
Like it's definitely a product of its time (as is SL to most people), but it's just not for me. I'm sure cool stuff can be done, but I couldn't get into it.

Played through this on release and got every achievement, thought it was alright, never touched it again.
Idk why but as time passed I only grew more and more annoyed by it. Maybe just due to how there seemed to be a new one that was the exact same game every year. Like I was a tumblr user for a long time, so maybe I'm tired of being reminded of tumblr. Who knows.

Like it's a kid's game, so I shouldn't be. But the controls were just so?????
The game felt like it was playing itself. Like it wasn't really even laughable bad.

The rawest example of "Oh shit I loved this game as a kid, let me pick it up again" to "I'm in so much pain holy shit"
