Blood Omen 2 was a love hate relationship. Love that it’s part of the Legacy of Kain series, hate that it didn’t live up to the standard of Soul Reaver. From what I understand BO2 and Soul Reaver 2 were being developed by the same studio but not the same team that worked on Soul Reaver 1. From memory I can tell where blood omen lacks. I used to watch my cousin play SR but I was never old enough to understand to play it myself. The game was very repetitive. The voice acting was laughable. The combat. Well let’s just say it was comical. All in all it’s a classic of a great series and ironically it’s story is a prequel to Soul Reaver that came out 5 years prior.
