Bozocore to a mild degree.

I feel like Krusty's Super Fun House was the game that taught me from an early age that me and the impossible amount of variations on the Lemmings formula are about as compatible as mayonnaise and malfunctioning electrical outlets. For whatever reason my grandma owned two versions of Krusty and His Fun House, the Genesis and Game Gear versions. I assume she got the latter because she just couldn't get enough of Krusty's Amusement Condominium and needed one to play while watching the Philadelphia 76ers on the telly.

Gameplay boils down to playing as Krusty and marching around throwing cheesy poofs at giant snakes while trying to direct invading rats to contraptions being manned by Bart Simpson and company who promptly murder them. Why Krusty can't kill the rats himself is beyond explanation, I guess it just isn't in his contract or something? Then why doesn't he just hire real exterminators? The flimsy plot reads like the game was developed way before The Simpsons license was obtained and the publisher went "hey, put The Simpsons in it" and they proceeded to kill the original main characters via trap door after firing them like Mr. Burns would've done.

My experience with Krusty's Enjoyment Residence is the same as it has always been since the day I knew it, mildly entertaining for the first world/section until they start giving you more than one block to move around and solve the stage. After that I immediately lose 100 IQ points and start drooling profusely. The sad part is that despite my low opinion on Krusty's Superior Fun Place it's still one of the better games from the monstrous pile of shitware that this series produced during the entirety of the 90s. Krusty's Hyper Entertainment Palace isn't winning any Pulitzers for it's gameplay, but compared to Bart vs. The World/Space Mutants/Galactic Vacuum Cleaners it's basically Rocket Knight Adventures. I honestly don't know what kind of curmudgeon bastard I would've turned into if I was forced to endure any of those losers throughout my childhood like so many others apparently did.

The most interesting bit of information I got from researching this game was finding out about a character called "Bozo the Iron Man" who was apparently an inspiration for "Gonzo the Mechanical Bastard", a DC supervillain who impersonated world leaders. That should tell you something about my opinion on Krusty's Pain Building. Some music tracks were also changed in the 1.1 revision, which explains why some music in the rom I played were different from the game rip soundtrack I have on my PC. Do not ask me why I have this game's soundtrack.
