Perhaps one of the most charming, wholesome, and memorable games I have played in some time. I think pretty well each of the different Bugsnax got a laugh out of me for their designs/names (not to mention the fantastic voice acting), and trying to figure out all the different ways to catch them was really fun and allowed for some unorthodox strategies. But I think what really surprised me was how well written and just down to earth the characters and the story were. There were a lot of genuinely real moments and ideas that get touched upon. It was a short ride, but the developers didn’t waste one second of it and I hope we see a follow up some day.
