I know this might sound ridiculous but I couldn't get over the inconsistencies in the art style/presentation. I really wish it was just like, true 1bit graphics instead of the random dithering and use of soft gradients.

I feel like I mostly understood the story, although I kind of struggled to understand why the creature had his freakout, especially considering I treated him well. It felt almost like I was being redirected to fit on the track the developer wanted me to be, because if I was given the chance, I would've comforted him more instead of letting him spiral. I also kind of think the actions described near the final chase sequence thing in the house were a bit confusing. Like, he's choking me, but I can still make it into my bedroom? And then we see him looking into the bedroom doorway, just eyes, but it says I'm still dying?

The themes were cool, and I liked how it built off of itself, but not really something I want to try replaying for the other endings.
