Counter-Strike 2 is right here! I swear Valve can't count...

Counter-Strike: Condition Zero is a follow-up to the cult classic Counter-Strike, does it work as a sequel and is it a great single-player experience? My answer would be "Meh" and "Meh".
On paper, this game is pretty much identical to the last one outside of nice QOL and new maps, this game doesn't really offer much else new... Oh-oh, the single-player, I love single-player in games that don't need them, it's actually kinda fun, it's just playing against CPU so you don't have to deal with sweaty tryhards and the bots have pretty cool interactive AI with voice commands similar to Team Fortress 2. Though the campaign is just playing rounds on all of the maps from the game with extra objectives, overall really forgettable but fun extra junk nonetheless, we love adding value to an online game!

So what's the point of this game? None, actually. It's just nice to have but with so little content added this just feels like a glorified update of Counter-Strike, I personally see this game as an upgrade since it plays better, looks better, and has more stuff in it, but I can see why people didn't take this game all too lightly when it came out.

But now that this game no longer has a 50$ or whatever price tag, should we still be mad at it for doing so little? I personally think this game is more fun than the original so yeah, for me, it's just a straight upgrade to the original but that is up to the player to find which one they like better.
So yeah I do recommend this game over the original if you care about playing some old Counter-Strike but at the same time, the servers are much more empty in it so you might as well just play the original, or source if you are smart.
