Probably one of the most important games I've ever played and one that will always have a special place in my heart. Toontown was first online gaming experience and something that I absolutely fell in love with during the brief stints that I was allowed to play the game. The concept and execution of so many parts of this game is what has made it such a nostalgic, memorable game for so many.

From a more critical standpoint, there was always plenty wrong with the very simple gameplay that could have been expanded upon but never was. Even then, I just love the core of this game so much, even now (after having played Rewritten for a long time), that it was always something I could overlook. There is a reason that there was still a significant appeal to me in playing an early 2000s, kid-focused, janky-ass Disney game much over a decade after it released with Rewritten. I will also never forgive Disney for giving up on this game; I truly believe that if they continued to pursue this concept in a new, revamped, modern way, that it could and would be successful and tons of fun. And honestly, I still hope that there will one day be an MMO-like game like this that captures my attention as much as Toontown did for so much of my life.
