I don't watch anime. I hate turn-based combat. I don't play JRPGs. I like Persona 5 Royal.
With that said, it is way too long and it hurts the game severely by the end. The magic and charm of doing everyday activities is gone once all your social stats are maxed out and there's no point. As someone who never played the original Persona 5, I can't imagine how annoying things were in that given how many QoL improvements could still be made in Royal (Fusion Alarms). All in all, I'm very happy with my first JRPG in over a decade, and I won't be going back to another one for a very long time.
