Stumbled across this recently and was amazed that a spiritual successor or even a game similar to Picross 3D exists. Unfortunately though it's not nearly as good in polish, design or control. This game feels incredibly awkward to play, I constantly will be miss-clicking and adding a block to the wrong spot or whenever I'm trying to move the camera. Beyond that, it's either way too easy or way too hard depending on your settings. With the default settings, you're given little to no penalizations for mistakes, so puzzles can be completed much quicker and are vastly less fun or satisfying as a result. Making a mistake will generally tell you exactly what block you're meant to chip off, and you can disable the extra hints, but that leads to a whole other problem. I toggled my settings and tried solving a puzzle only to find that at the end I had done something wrong. In Picross 3D, this wasn't so much a problem because you couldn't add blocks back, but also if you had made enough mistakes to have to restart the puzzle, you can learn from them and try something different next time. Voxelgram is a 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 more casual oriented game than Picross 3D, to a point where it's less gratifying and enjoyable. It's neat that it has workshop functionality, but I feel no draw to come back to this game as compared to the addictive nature of Picross 3D.
