My first entry on this site! A nostalgic blast from muh childhood but, same with 'Battle for Bikini Bottom,' it's not as good a game as you remembered.

It's possibly the best representation of a cartoon world from a source material. The sandbox levels are well-designed, the environments are packed with so many details and nods for fans of the show, the story is fun if a little derivative, the soundtrack is stellar, driving mechanics are solid and feel good to play, and there's a decent variety of cars/characters to choose. (Comic Book Guy's Kremlin, Homer's '70s Sports Car, and Bart's Red Ferrini were my go-to favorites.)

However, missions are repetitive, there's really no replay value after collecting everything, the art direction and character designs leave a lot to be desired, and the small selection of voice lines cycling over and over gets a little old after a while.

Overall a decent GTA III clone. With a bigger budget and fuller expansion on certain ideas and features, it could have been something more.

I would say I'd love to see a spiritual successor to this game, but with the current Simpsons writer's room potentially being attached to a supposed new game, that sounds like an immediate turn-off.
