A lot of memories from playing this game growing up.

The combat is surprisingly fun, but admittedly it starts to become mundane towards the end of the game despite being able to buy upgrades for fighting as you progress.

Unlike most modern Spiderman titles, this game is very linear. While I don't think Spiderman fits best in a linear format, this game very much makes it work, in my opinion.

As for the four different gameplay styles, I think only the Noir and 2099 levels stuck out the most to me as being very different, but they're all pretty fun in their own right. All levels have boss fights, usually more than one, and I almost always found them to be a good time.

The game does suffer from quite a few technical issues, at least on the PS3 version. I have many memories of clipping out of bounds and getting stuck along with other weird glitches. In addition, the game is unfortunately pretty short, especially compared to other Spiderman titles.

All in all, it's a pretty good game that I respect a lot despite its pretty obvious flaws.
