This is a weird one. Starlit Kart Racing is “free to play” but nearly everything in the game is locked behind a paywall.

Want to play on 600cc? That’ll be $5.99. Unlock one of the seventeen locked karts? That’ll be around $4 of in-game currency (on the cheap end). Hell, even the cups themselves are locked behind an in-game currency that you earn tediously.

It’s a shame too, because the gameplay itself isn’t half bad. It’s just that every other aspect of the game is designed to get you to fork over money for things that should’ve been included in the base game from the start.
