Well-made sequel that — while not being as strong narratively — improves upon almost every aspect of gameplay.
+ huge Pokédex that strikes a good balance between old and new
+ decent group of "companions" without an actual rival for once
+ neat collector features (habitat list and medals)
+ reasonable expansion to the previously unfinished story
+ better 3D implementation with a lot more scenic value
- only slight remodeling of the familiar terrain
- no more moral ambiguity at all
