An interesting, if a little messy genre mash up. It has a Roguelike board game progression system, tower defense framing, and pinball mechanics.

The art style isn’t wholly terrible but its mobile game feel is a detractor for it. One big draw for Apple Arcade is that a larger portion of the games are implementing a look or feel more akin to proper games rather than overly sanded-down mass market appealing money hungry games. This one feels closer in looks to those. It’s also a bit muddy to look at since there are so many vague elements.

The gameplay itself is fun if mildly tedious at times. It’s a more passive experience than your average Roguelike but I enjoy it nonetheless. Runs do take a looong time but it’s fairly generous with saves and checkpoints. And you can’t beat pinball.
