An improvement from Yakuza 3, but I didn't feel inclined to do much of the side content. Although that may have more to do with my Yakuza burnout at the time of writing this. Splitting the game into separate chunks for each of the four protagonists was a successful way I keeping things from feeling stale.

There are some really annoying boss fights in this game, especially if you're just trying to button mash your way through. You have to be precise with your actions, which ultimately made each victory feel more rewarding. It's hard to be playing these Yakuza games in chronological order, because going from more polished iterations like Yakuza 0 to this leads to some unfair comparisons.
